Steps for Treatment
The steps for Invisalign® treatment are simple and can be completed right in our office. During your consultation, we will go over what your desires are for your smile. We will take extensive X-rays and impressions of your teeth to assist in creating the final treatment plan. Before treatment begins, you will be able to see the transition images from your teeth in their current state to the projected final images. We will also offer an estimated length of treatment and number of trays needed.
Beginning Treatment
When treatment for Invisalign® begins, you will be given your trays and simple directions and guidelines to follow. We will review how to insert the aligner trays and how to remove them for eating and cleaning your teeth. Just a reminder — it is recommended to wear the trays for approximately 22 hours per day.
During Treatment
Be sure to wear your aligner trays as many hours per day as possible for effective treatment timelines. We will have set appointments in our office to review your progress. Visits to our office for maintenance will take place approximately every 6 to 12 weeks.
